These no-bake chocolate bars are full of surprises. Milk chocolate, salty and crunchy potato chips, a layer of white chocolate, and fresh raspberries on top.
Sweet, salty, and a little tart. It’s a combination that’s honestly addictive.
The best part? You don’t even turn on the oven.
Everything melts in the microwave and sets in the fridge. Give it a full night if you can.
My tip: pop the pan in the freezer for 15–20 minutes before slicing. You’ll get clean, neat bars.
To make these no-bake chocolate bars, melt milk chocolate, fold in coarsely broken salted potato chips, and press into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan. Chill 20 minutes, pour over white chocolate melted with heavy cream, top with fresh raspberries, and refrigerate at least 4–6 hours (overnight is best). No baking required.

No-Bake Chocolate Potato Chip Bars with White Chocolate and Raspberries
Ingredients
Method
- Melt the milk chocolate in the microwave in short bursts until smooth.
- Break the potato chips into coarse pieces and gently fold them into the melted chocolate until every piece is coated.
- Transfer to a parchment-lined 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) pan and spread into an even layer. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes, until set.
- Melt the white chocolate with the heavy cream in the microwave in short bursts, stirring between each one, until smooth and even.
- Pour the white chocolate over the milk chocolate layer and gently smooth the top.
- Arrange the fresh raspberries over the white layer and press them in gently.
- Refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours, until fully set (overnight is best).
- Lift out of the pan, cut into bars with a sharp knife, and serve.
Notes
- Use short microwave bursts. White chocolate especially can scorch quickly.
- Break the chips into coarse pieces, not crumbs, so you get crunch in every bite.
- Pat the raspberries dry before adding them so they don’t make the white chocolate watery.
- Milk chocolate → semisweet or dark chocolate for a less sweet bar.
- Fresh raspberries → other fresh berries, such as sliced strawberries.
- Use plain, salted, classic-cut potato chips. Avoid flavored chips.
Frequently asked questions
No. Both chocolate layers are melted in the microwave and the bars set in the fridge.
At least 4–6 hours after the white chocolate layer goes on, and overnight is best for a fully set bar.
Freeze the pan for 15–20 minutes before slicing and use a sharp knife.
Keep them in an airtight container in the fridge. Because of the fresh raspberries, they’re best eaten within a few days.
Plain, salted potato chips. The salt balances the sweet chocolate, and the crunch is the whole point.
